New Life Academy meets in Mt. Juliet each Monday from September to May. Classes
are provided for Kindergarten through 12th grade students.
New Life Academy partners with Christian parents desiring to enhance or extend home
education. Significant parent involvement is vital to student success. We require
families perform the supervision and extension of class instruction, actively attend
a local church, and be registered with an umbrella school under the Tennessee Home
New Life Academy is a non-profit organization. All New Life members are non-paid
volunteers. New Life classes are administered by a committee, members of which
are non-elected and non-paid.
In addition to the structured classes for students, New Life Academy has a support
group for our families. A variety of activities are planned throughout the year
for families to participate in (including a Kick-Off Picnic, Christmas Craft Day,
Prom, Graduation, Senior Dinner, Science Fair, Field Day, and many others). Each family is asked to
assist in the planning of two activities throughout the year. Junior parents and students are
also required to help with graduation as a third activity.
New Life Academy members must obtain membership with Middle Tennessee Home Education
Association (MTHEA) and membership must be renewed every year. This provides New
Life Academy with a tax-exempt, non-profit status. The annual fee is currently
$35.00. This will also provide you with a monthly newsletter, Jonathan's
Arrow, that is filled with information on homeschool happenings in and
around Middle Tennessee and entrance into the May curriculum fair. For more information and to obtain membership information
